E-Verify Program is a web-based employment eligibility verification system operated by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security. It enables enrolled U. S. employers to electronically confirm the identity and work authorization of new (and some existing) hires by comparing employee-provided Form I-9 information against federal databases. The program includes employer and employee resources (myE-Verify), enhanced features like E-Verify+, photo matching, driver’s license verification, reporting tools, compliance guidance for federal contractors, training/webinars, and privacy/usage policies. E-Verify is an official government service focused on lawful employment verification and employer compliance with immigration and hiring regulations.

📋 Description

• Identify authoritative data sources and define ingestion, transformation, storage, access, retention, and quality requirements • Develop automated data pipelines and reusable data services supporting workflow, security, ATO, and operational automation • Design data models, schemas, mappings, validation rules, lineage, metadata, and data-quality controls • Create analytics datasets, metrics, dashboards, and reporting components exposing status, trends, exceptions, and decision-support information • Integrate data capabilities with APIs, customer repositories, approved cloud services, and DevSecOps workflows • Apply access controls, logging, encryption, and other security requirements in collaboration with security personnel • Automate testing and monitoring of data pipelines • Document designs, dependencies, operating procedures, and data definitions • Support a federal customer by transforming operational, development, security, and assessment data into reliable information for automation, monitoring, and decision support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or related field • 8+ years of relevant experience • Experience developing data pipelines, transformations, models, analytics, or reporting capabilities in enterprise or cloud environments • Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming/scripting language used for data engineering • Experience with data quality, lineage, access controls, automated testing, and integration with APIs or operational systems • Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust • U.S. Citizenship is required • Active Secret clearance highly preferred • Preferred: AWS data services, Python, SQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, data modeling and lineage, dashboards/analytics tools, GitLab CI/CD, and API-based data integration
