E-Verify Program is a web-based employment eligibility verification system operated by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security. It enables enrolled U. S. employers to electronically confirm the identity and work authorization of new (and some existing) hires by comparing employee-provided Form I-9 information against federal databases. The program includes employer and employee resources (myE-Verify), enhanced features like E-Verify+, photo matching, driver’s license verification, reporting tools, compliance guidance for federal contractors, training/webinars, and privacy/usage policies. E-Verify is an official government service focused on lawful employment verification and employer compliance with immigration and hiring regulations.

📋 Description

• Lead periodic and annual oversight and governance evaluations across cybersecurity and Federal requirements • Coordinate data calls, evidence collection, testing access, interviews, walkthroughs, and control assessments • Evaluate program and control effectiveness and maintain complete, traceable, timely evidence • Drive vulnerabilities, findings, and gaps through remediation, validation, documentation updates, and closure • Lead contractor support for IV&V, QA, LMM compliance, process reviews, system assessments/audits, and Government surveillance • Maintain traceability of configuration items, baselines, and builds supporting lifecycle, change, and configuration management • Coordinate responses to authorized Federal inquiries, studies, inspections, validations, and audits • Lead implementation and maintenance of the Government-approved Quality Control Plan • Maintain an inspection system and quality checks supporting Government oversight and conforming deliverables • Manage deficiencies and nonconforming work through root-cause analysis, corrective action, validation, documentation, and closure

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline • 5–10 years of relevant cybersecurity, information assurance, governance, assessment/authorization, audit/compliance, or quality-assurance experience • Senior industry professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent • Experience planning/leading major cybersecurity assignments and functioning as a technical expert across multiple high-impact activities • Knowledge of NIST controls/assessment practices, Federal RMF/A&A, OSA, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, security operations, and remediation • Experience supporting Government cybersecurity assessments/audits, IV&V/QA/LMM reviews, configuration traceability, QCP/inspection processes, and findings/corrective-action management • Strong stakeholder coordination, technical writing, analysis, and briefing skills • Ability to evaluate results, recommend significant improvements, and supervise supporting personnel as assigned • Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust • At least an active Secret clearance is highly preferred • U.S. Citizenship is required
