📋 Description

• Operate as a contract team member for ABS Group Consulting • Receive additional training and support the American Petroleum Institute (API) • Perform Quality Management Systems (QMS) audits of manufacturing and oil and natural gas service organizations • Perform technical audits against product specifications, performance criteria, management systems, and contract requirements • Conduct audits at assigned client locations within operational areas • Travel to and from audit locations using common transportation • Prepare audit reports and perform reporting in English

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED with technical training required • University or College (post-secondary) degree in a technical field preferred • At least four years of appropriate technical/quality work experience • Minimum of two years of auditing experience or two years of professional experience, or two years combining auditing and professional experience • Oil and gas industry experience or experience in similar manufacturing and/or service industries • Working knowledge of Machining, Heat Treatment, Welding, Coating, and NDE manufacturing processes • Ability to identify design, performance/testing, material, marking, packing, and shipping requirements from technical documents • Previous NACE/IAF Code 17 and 18 experience desired • Knowledge of API specifications, including API Specs 5CT, 6A, 6D, and Q1 desired • Experience with quality, environmental, and/or health and safety management system implementation, design, or maintenance desired • Working knowledge of API Spec Q1 • Auditing training such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, internal auditor, ISO 19011, or other lead auditor training • Knowledge of API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and related management system standards • Technical training such as ASME inspections, welding, or service industry training • Auditor certification or equivalent experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities • Speak, read, and write effectively in English, including reporting • Fluent in the local language of the audits where the auditor lives and works • Ability to travel to audit locations and work in hot or cold temperatures, offices, confined spaces, and at heights • Ability to climb vertical ladders and use small tools and required PPE
