📋 Description

• Operate as a contract team member for ABS Group Consulting • Receive additional training and support the American Petroleum Institute (API) • Perform Quality Management Systems (QMS) audits of manufacturing and oil and natural gas service organizations • Perform technical audits against product specifications, performance criteria, management systems, and contract requirements • Travel to and from audit locations and work at assigned operational-area locations • Perform audits and related technically oriented services in varied environmental and worksite conditions

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED with technical training required • University or College (post-secondary) degree in a technical field preferred • At least four years of appropriate technical/ quality work experience • Minimum of two years of auditing experience or two years of professional experience (engineering, project planning, management, supervisory, manufacturing, etc.) OR two years of experience that combines auditing and professional • Oil and gas industry experience or experience in similar manufacturing and/or service industries • Working knowledge of machining, heat treatment, welding, coating, and NDE manufacturing processes • Ability to identify design, performance/testing, material, marking, packing, and shipping requirements from technical documents • Previous experience in NACE/IAF Code 17 and 18 desired • Working knowledge of API specifications, including API Specs 5CT, 6A, 6D, and Q1 desired • Experience with quality, environmental, and/or health and safety management system implementation, design, or maintenance desired • Working knowledge of applicable management system standards, including API Spec Q1 • Speak, read, and write effectively in English, including reporting • Fluent in the local language of the audits where the auditor lives and works • Ability to travel using common transportation • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, offices, confined spaces, and at heights; climb vertical ladders and use small tools and PPE as required
