📋 Description

• Drive complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives from conception to deployment • Manage timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure technical scalability • Evaluate complex systems and identify, quantify, and mitigate potential design, manufacturing, or project execution failures • Conduct analyses to ensure designs meet technical, manufacturability, reliability, and industry-standard compliance objectives • Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including FTA, FMEA, and HAZOP • Ensure engineering designs comply with industry regulations, international safety standards such as ISO and IEC, and corporate governance policies • Develop actionable risk mitigation strategies, design modifications, and operational controls to minimize identified hazards • Collaborate with testing and validation teams to verify effective integration of risk controls into final designs • Author risk management plans and analytical reports for executive stakeholders and external customers • Serve as primary technical advisor bridging design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing • Mentor engineers, technicians, and production staff on risk analysis best practices • Engage in near-term and future R&D efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or Reliability Engineering (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) • 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering design, systems safety, or reliability analysis within highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, nuclear, or medical devices • Deep proficiency in probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), Monte Carlo simulations, and reliability modeling software such as ReliaSoft, Item ToolKit, or PTC Windchill • 5+ years analyzing and interpreting complex engineering data and statistical risks into clear, non-technical language for strategic decision-making • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. • Ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally • Participation in video and in-person interviews may be required
