📋 Description

• Generate bid hour and bid sheets for substation and transmission line projects • Reach out to suppliers to gather and confirm pricing information • Prepare detailed take-offs and staking sheets for accurate project estimation • Review bid documents to ensure thorough understanding and accuracy • Perform site visits as needed to collect relevant information and assess project requirements • Collect and analyze historical cost data to enhance estimates for ongoing and future projects • Develop estimates to support management in project planning, organization, and scheduling • Interpret blueprints and other documentation to provide accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field • 2+ years of experience in utility construction estimating - Transmission line or Substation • Experience with EPC Estimating • Strong background in Microsoft Office applications and construction estimating software • Ability to write reports and business correspondence • Sound organizational skills with attention to detail
