📋 Description

• Lead structural design efforts from conceptual development through final design, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements set by project managers. • Develop structural specifications and data sheets for packaged equipment based on project scope. • Prepare and manage Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), technical bid evaluations, and make informed purchase recommendations. • Review and analyze structural vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications. • Coordinate and communicate technical information between suppliers, clients, and cross-disciplinary engineering teams. • Collaborate with detailers and designers to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of structural designs. • Conduct quality reviews of production drawings across various projects to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. • Verify and implement required corrections using multiple CAD platforms, ensuring design integrity and consistency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with structural emphasis • Minimum 8 years’ experience, working in a similar firm preferred – EPC Project experience is preferred • Ability to prepare structural calculation sheets, detailed construction drawings, and corresponding AutoCAD files, including markups and coordination using Bluebeam. • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA Foundation, RISA-3D, SAP, and familiarity with geotechnical/structural software (e.g., LPILE or similar) • A Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred but not required. • Working knowledge of structural design codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE7).
