📋 Description

• Assess customers' production floor, planning, quality, and supply chain practices • Identify gaps against industry best practices and recommend operational improvements • Advise on production planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, changeover/downtime reduction, yield management, and waste/scrap reduction • Recommend organizational, procedural, and technological paths forward and explain trade-offs • Represent new customers as the primary go-to resource during consulting and implementation • Lead sessions covering business/operations consulting and implementation of the ECI Deacom ERP platform • Identify and document business initiatives, process/system gaps, and reporting/data analytics requirements • Apply manufacturing expertise to formula/recipe management, scaling, yield and potency calculations, co-products/by-products, and unit-of-measure conversions • Advise on and configure lot traceability, genealogy, and recall readiness • Advise on quality control and compliance practices, including FDA and HACCP requirements • Gather requirements through process reviews • Perform systems design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, setup, solution engineering, concept validation, UAT, pre-implementation testing, and data migration recommendations • Provide consulting recaps and activity reporting • Define and drive KPIs for manufacturing, quality, and inventory performance • Build credibility with plant and operations leadership • Travel to customers throughout the U.S. and Canada, averaging approximately 25%, potentially increasing to 50% during key project phases

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, supply chain, operations management, engineering, or equivalent • 5+ years of hands-on experience working in or directly consulting for a batch or process manufacturing environment • Ability to evaluate manufacturing operations and recommend improvements to production planning, scheduling, capacity, yield, and waste • Strong working knowledge of formulation/recipe management, production scheduling, and lot traceability practices • Comfortable advising plant managers, operations leaders, and quality teams • Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time • ERP product knowledge and prior software implementation or consultation experience; 3+ years of ERP experience preferred • Understanding of manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance business practices • Ability to present complex operational and technical concepts clearly to varied audiences • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivated drive • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills • Professional presence suitable for direct client interaction • Valid driver's license and/or passport for required travel within the US and Canada • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows • Prior manufacturing/operations consulting, plant management, or continuous improvement experience is an additional qualification • Experience with quality management or regulatory compliance systems is an additional qualification • Experience with business process improvement or operational excellence projects is an additional qualification • Microsoft SQL Server query, view, and stored procedure experience is an additional qualification • APICS/CPIM certification is a plus • Proficiency in MS Visio is an additional qualification
