📋 Description

• Visit firehouses, police departments, and public safety facilities to introduce Mermaid AI • Conduct live, in-person demonstrations of the AI-powered radio solution • Build relationships with chiefs, officers, and municipal decision-makers • Identify opportunities and move deals through the full sales cycle • Attend regional events, trainings, and industry meetups • Represent Mermaid AI as the face of the company in the assigned territory • Provide real-world feedback to help shape product evolution

🎯 Requirements

• Self-motivated closer who can perform without a base salary • Comfortable initiating conversations at firehouses or police departments • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical innovation into real-world value • Organized and disciplined in managing an independent sales pipeline • Excited about selling a new category of AI technology • Preferred but not required: background in public safety, radio communications, RF, telecom, government or municipal sales • Preferred but not required: experience with in-person, field-based sales • Preferred but not required: familiarity with how public agencies evaluate and purchase equipment • Regional/national travel required • 1099 contractor status
