📋 Description

• Evaluate courses taken at other institutions to fulfill ECPI University degree requirements • Ensure accurate and timely evaluation of credit for prior learning, including transfer credit, military training and experience, and nontraditional credit, within 24–48 hours of receiving assessment materials • Utilize the TES evaluation system and other resources to complete transfer credit evaluations • Assist with official transfer credit evaluations as needed • Screen transcripts and update student records for additional schools attended • Verify school accreditation, applicable degrees earned, and course/grade information to ensure transfer credit is accurately applied • Process transcripts and other student documents confidentially in compliance with FERPA and college/university policies, regulations, and procedures • Work independently and with a team on training, software testing, meetings, and presenting ideas to improve departmental accuracy and efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university • Preferred experience working in higher education setting, ideally in records management, academic services or student success • An equivalent combination of related work and educational experience • Highly dedicated to service excellence for students, University administrators, faculty and others • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and other constituents • Exceptional problem solving, administrative, analytical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint • Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently • Understanding of institutional structure in an educational environment • Flexibility to learn new methodologies, technologies and systems • One to three years of experience at an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in student records, enrollment management or student services • Experience with student information systems, particularly CampusNexus • Experience with transfer technology systems, particularly CollegeSource/TES • Knowledge of credit transfer models • Experience with student success initiatives • Knowledge of student information systems, online catalog and curriculum management systems, degree audit systems, or query tools for extracting and reporting student information • Knowledge of academic curriculum, curricular policies and procedures, and systemic impacts of curriculum changes • Understanding of FERPA and ability to interpret and apply other federal, state, and institutional regulations and rules • Knowledge of credit transfer policies and practices in higher education
