📋 Description
• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on every scheduled instructional day • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience • Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching • Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records • Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality student support
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field • Active state teaching license with an endorsement in Mathematics, grades 6-12 • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings • Comfort with the demands of a live online classroom • Ability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per day every instructional day • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software • Ability to interpret student performance data and adapt live instruction • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organization, self-direction, and time management skills to manage a full student caseload remotely • Commitment to maintaining certification and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
