📋 Description

• Perform visual inspections and maintenance as needed of landfill for compliance with applicable permit conditions • Operate, maintain, and monitor pump and treat and other remediation and leachate conveyance systems • Mow and maintain landfill cap and drainage areas • Conduct multimedia sampling, including groundwater, soil, surface water, sediments, and air sampling • Provide remediation construction and drilling oversight on project sites • Manage and track waste • Work with data management and project management teams to ensure data is managed properly • Liaise with project team members and managers • Work independently in a virtual environment

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. Degree or specialized training in a technical field (such as Environmental Science, Biology, or geology) is preferred • Community college or other accredited trainings may be substituted • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification and/or current 8-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Annual Refresher preferred • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Training • Travel as needed across North America, with the potential to work out of town between several days to a few weeks • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to think strategically and intellectually and work within project budgets • Excellent organizational skills • Familiarity with sampling techniques and equipment • Mechanical skills in troubleshooting • Ability to liaise with project team members and managers • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
