• Lead the design and implementation of site-specific human health risk assessments for remedial investigations • Ensure compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, and state or international regulatory programs • Develop conceptual exposure models characterizing constituent fate and transport, human health receptors, and exposure pathways • Support remedial decision-making, derive remedial goals, and assess protectiveness of remedial alternatives • Advocate for technical findings and negotiate with state and federal regulators • Design and implement multimedia and multidisciplinary investigations, including vapor intrusion evaluations • Prepare and review toxicological profiles using USEPA and ATSDR guidance and databases • Develop risk dossiers using OECD and REACH guidance and databases compatible with Australian DoEE requirements • Oversee multiple projects and ensure timely, successful completion within budget • Manage, mentor, and develop professional staff • Cultivate client relationships and support business development initiatives • Collaborate with clients and project teams on allocation and litigation strategies • Review and interpret regulations and guidance related to human health risk assessments in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes for risk assessment methodologies and reporting • Stay current with industry trends and participate in technical conferences or work groups
• 8 + years of experience in consulting, with a strong track record of successful project outcomes and management • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing staff • Experience in business development building strong client relationships • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and environmental laws • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Master's or Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, toxicology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field • Ability to travel as needed, based on client and project needs
