📋 Description

• Provide GIS and database support for DATAENVI clients and multiple EHS Support service lines, including Remediation, Sediment & Risk Assessment, PRP, and Business Services • Produce high-quality and complex maps and figures for reports and presentations • Perform spatial analysis • Develop user-friendly web applications and web maps • Create scripts to automate tasks and improve internal processes • Investigate and procure spatial data from publicly available sources • Obtain, clean, review, synthesize, and visualize environmental data • Run, modify, and develop reports to ensure data quality and accuracy • Develop and document reproducible scripts and tools for data cleaning and analysis • Provide level-of-effort estimates for requested tasks • Coordinate with internal and external clients to provide data management and spatial solutions • Manage priorities, deadlines, and budgets across multiple projects • Provide litigation support • Engage in independent learning through webinars, conferences, publications, knowledge shares, and strategic growth projects

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in GIS • 3+ years of professional experience in data management • Knowledge and execution of cartographic design principles • Advanced understanding and experience with ESRI ArcGIS Software Suite • Advanced understanding and experience with SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) • Advanced understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel • Professional experience utilizing ArcGIS Online for web applications and web map generation • Professional experience developing electronic forms for field data collection using applications like Fulcrum • Understanding and experience in Python • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and data quality • Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and principles • Ability to think strategically and conceptually about environmental data and develop solutions to support project objectives • Willingness to learn and gain technical expertise by working on multiple projects and with experts in technical areas of practice • Strong communication skills and willingness to communicate proactively, efficiently, and directly with team members • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Geography, GIS, Database Management, or closely related field of study • Highly ranked candidates will have one or more of the following: experience with environmental chemistry data; proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS Experience Builder; familiarity with EarthSoft's EQuIS Data Management System; experience querying data using Microsoft Access; additional coding language experience (JavaScript, HTML, etc.); experience with a task management system (Jira)
