📋 Description

• Lead complex health and safety compliance projects • Mentor staff and manage client relationships • Ensure high standards of technical quality, safety, and professional integrity • Assess workplace hazards and risks and recommend preventive measures • Audit H&S programs and safety practices to identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements • Design and help implement safety management systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines • Investigate systemic issues and incidents, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions • Apply ergonomic principles to workplace design • Assess chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices and recommend protective measures • Conduct in-person or remote training, including safety stand-downs and daily debriefs • Develop toolbox talks, compliance cheat sheets, and guidance documents • Provide technical assistance on safety-related compliance projects and manage quality deliverables • Build and maintain positive client relationships and communicate safety recommendations • Provide onsite H&S support at client sites as needed • Lead technical scope and execution of large, complex projects or manage multiple smaller projects • Maintain project profitability and manage scope, assumptions, and client expectations • Serve as lead author and final technical decision-maker on complex deliverables • Conduct and oversee technical reviews of reports • Present project results and recommendations to clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders • Make data-driven technical and strategic recommendations • Identify follow-on work opportunities • Lead project scoping, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial management • Promote H&S policies, procedures, safety culture, training, and continual improvement • Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and the public • Lead internal, client, and agency meetings; represent clients at public meetings and industry working groups • Represent the company at conferences and professional forums • Develop long-term client relationships and manage a client portfolio • Handle complex client issues and influence organizational change • Prepare proposal packages and support strategic growth, marketing, client outreach, and business development

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in H&S compliance, site assessments, and regulatory reporting at industrial facilities • Working knowledge of exposure monitoring strategies, sampling plans, and Industrial Hygiene reporting methodologies • Extensive experience providing engaging H&S training to groups of employees • Advanced oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to independently write reports with minimal review comments • Strong strategic, analytical, and decision-making skills • Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities • High level of professional ethics and commitment to EH&S values and operating principles • Ability to work remotely, with minimal direct supervision • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced consulting environments with shifting priorities • Ability to work as a team member, collaborating with other employees and clients • Ability to travel, up to 75% • Experience writing, implementing, and auditing Process Safety Management/Risk Management Plan programs • Experience implementing exposure monitoring, interpreting data, and writing Industrial Hygiene reports • Experience as an expert witness • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and legal requirements, including OSHA General and Construction Industry standards, federal and state OSHA regulations, NFPA, NIOSH, and ANSI standards • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 13+ years of relevant experience
