📋 Description

• Serve as the single source of truth and accountability for acquisition and maintenance of clinic, state, and organizational licenses, certifications, and registrations • Maintain state-by-state inventories of licensure requirements, application status, renewal timelines, and operational obligations • Manage external portals and internal systems tracking licensure • Identify and resolve licensure barriers to entry, including certificate of need requirements, moratoriums, and exemptions • Oversee training and organizational application of licensing expectations • Manage facility licensure audits and surveys and lead corrective action planning • Track and interpret state and federal collaborating agreement regulations governing NP/PA prescribing authority, physician oversight, and Medication for Addiction Treatment • Own the lifecycle of collaborating agreements, including drafting standards, renewals, credentialing verification, and audit-readiness • Partner with Credentialing and Enrollment, Clinical, and Legal leadership on collaborating agreement structures • Own end-to-end incident management, including intake, triage, response, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning • Manage mandatory reporting obligations to licensing boards, accrediting bodies, and regulators • Own the organization-wide policy and procedure lifecycle, including drafting, version control, reviews, and approvals • Roll out policy updates and training with functional and market leaders • Maintain an audit-ready policy library • Own CARF accreditation readiness, survey preparation, on-site survey management, and continuous compliance • Lead responses to CARF findings and plans of correction • Drive the continuous quality improvement cycle • Serve as primary contact for CARF surveyors and regulatory auditors • Partner with the Sr. Director of CQCM on Clinical Compliance strategy and KPIs • Assess and report resource barriers and support needs • Provide data-driven feedback on organizational performance • Leverage AI tools to build and maintain compliance trackers, checklists, and workflows • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory operations, or licensure • Direct experience managing multi-state licensure or regulatory compliance programs • Direct experience with CARF accreditation processes, including surveys, standards, and ongoing compliance • Experience with collaborating/collaborative practice agreements, physician-NP/PA oversight structures, or credentialing in a multi-state clinical environment • Expertise navigating multi-state licensure landscapes across 10+ states • Experience owning incident management, grievance response, or risk/quality programs in a healthcare setting • A clinical background or licensure (e.g., RN, LCSW, LPC, or similar) strongly preferred • SUD/behavioral health industry experience strongly preferred • Track record of leading, or being ready to lead and grow, a team • Experience with policy and procedure management tools • Comfort with Monday.com or similar project management platforms • Technical proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and G-Suite • Strong organizational skills • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, AI tools, and G-Suite • Ability to work from a home office or clinic office location • Ability to travel up to 50% • Comfort operating in ambiguity • Strong communication, attention to detail, self-direction, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving
