📋 Description

• Provide leading researchers and practitioners with precise, current scientific and clinical information • Synthesize the latest research on products, disease states, standard of care, and therapeutic areas • Establish trusted relationships as a reliable source of unbiased medical and scientific information • Facilitate scientific exchange with scientific and clinical communities • Support scientific experts and clinical experts by addressing clinical care gaps and sharing evidence • Connect experts with Lilly resources and internal business partners • Facilitate collaborative research opportunities • Partner with clinical development on studies and investigators to support site identification, selection, and recruitment • Analyze customer data and prioritize engagement with assigned experts through face-to-face and virtual interactions • Implement strategic territory plans and use territory analytics for customer identification and routing prioritization • Coordinate compliantly with Lilly field roles sharing customers • Synthesize and communicate actionable customer and clinical insights to internal Medical and cross-functional teams • Cultivate internal networks and collaborate across functions with field-based colleagues • Contribute to team goals and execute the role in compliance with applicable requirements, procedures, and laws • Travel up to 80%, including weekend commitments

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required • In addition to PharmD, MD, PhD, minimum of two years of relevant clinical or TA experience desired • Masters or Bachelors level degree in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) considered if 5+ years clinical, research, or industry experience (medical or scientific role) in relevant therapeutic area • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role • Proficient in advanced presentation and computer skills • Expertise in literature identification • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to be self-directed and work alone in the field, managing multiple priorities and projects • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence and professional relationship building and networking • Resiliency in managing complex challenges • Intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine of specialization • Ability to leverage field-based tools and adapt as technology advances • Learning agility to comprehend and communicate complex scientific content clearly and concisely • Strategic and critical thinking skills to analyze, assess, and evaluate information and interpret impact or relevance to future states • Previous experience in a field-based working environment • Knowledge of health systems, academic communities, medical research, and the medical education process • Knowledge and experience of digital platforms to engage HCPs virtually (e.g., Zoom) • Previous experience in gastrointestinal and/or thoracic oncology therapeutic area strongly preferred • Applicants should live within the Pacific Northwest geography (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Northern California, Alaska) and near a transport hub
