• Deliver effective, efficient, and timely facility maintenance services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. • Travel in a company van to various customer sites to maintain commercial properties. • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds. • Conduct face-to-face customer relationships in service of client requirements. • Use multiple trade skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC, to solve maintenance problems. • Complete preventive maintenance and repairs according to work orders. • Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems. • Perform routine painting and carpentry work to maintain facilities. • Perform minor electrical maintenance as permitted by state law. • Complete service and asset inspections. • Use tablets and smartphones to access and complete work orders, create service reports, submit inspection images and reports, and submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs. • Obtain materials and supplies needed for tasks. • Maintain customer satisfaction and communicate with customers and internal support teams. • Complete required safety and compliance training and attend weekly safety meetings. • Provide estimates for larger projects and required services. • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred. • Two (2) to Five (5) years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. • Related work experience in one or more of the building trades. • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing. • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including safety policies and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations. • Ability to complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status via designated business process. • Ability to use handheld devices and business systems or document management database software, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. • Compliance with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. • Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies. • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Daily local travel between properties. • Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 75 pounds. • Valid driver’s license in good standing. • Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in front of customers.
