• Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques • Consult with engineers to interpret design concepts and determine detailed working-drawing requirements • Locate project files in the database library, load programs into the computer, and record completed job data • Examine electronic, electrical, and structural schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute, and verify drafting specifications • Compare logic-element configurations with engineering schematics and calculate figures to convert, redesign, and modify elements • Review work orders and procedural manuals and confer with vendors and design staff to resolve problems and modify designs • Review blueprints to determine customer requirements and consult assemblers regarding schematics • Generate computer diagrams of final layout designs for layered photo masks and photo plotting designs • Create proposal schematics in accordance with governmental requirements and consult key personnel regarding desired changes
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience • 4–9 years of experience • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance • Ability to sit for long periods • Ability to stand for long periods • Ability to ambulate throughout an office and between several buildings • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 10 pounds • Travel by land or air transportation: 0%
