📋 Description

• Audit and process crop insurance claims timely and accurately to meet quality production standards • Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to resolve claim-related issues • Identify problems, determine solutions, and recommend appropriate communication of resolutions • Utilize Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other internal resources • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and internal policies and procedures • Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one area of claims auditing • Provide guidance and expertise to support colleagues and ensure consistency and quality across audit activities • Process all levels of crop claim types, including moderate to advanced claims • Research and resolve complex claims issues with limited supervision while maintaining accuracy and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 5 years of crop insurance experience • Proven experience in crop insurance claims auditing and processing preferred • Knowledge of and ability to understand Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) policies and company policies, procedures, and related software • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technical/computer systems • Effective interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills • Ability to interact with internal and external customers • Ability to process moderate to advanced-level crop insurance claims • Ability to work independently and with a team • Ability to sit or stand constantly/continuously and perform sedentary work • Ability to travel for meetings and trainings
