📋 Description

• Lead EnergyHub's month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP • Review and evaluate contracts for revenue recognition under ASC 606 • Work with program managers to capture contract terms correctly • Support external audits by preparing workpapers and coordinating directly with auditors • Assist with accounts receivable and invoicing processes • Coordinate with customer success and operations teams to resolve open items • Partner with FP&A on monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting • Serve as liaison between EnergyHub and Alarm.com corporate accounting • Support SOX compliance requirements • Explain accounting requirements to non-accounting stakeholders • Identify process gaps and build scalable operational solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated process ownership • Solid, working knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Experience in a public company environment • Strong communication skills, including explaining technical requirements in plain language to non-accountants • High standards for accuracy, documentation, and completeness • CPA license strongly preferred • Experience in SaaS, software, energy, or tech is a plus • Comfort building processes in a high-growth or transitional environment • Sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization or other immigration-related support is not available
