📋 Description

• Manage the charge master, regulatory code changes, work queues, charge capture, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical trending • Identify root causes of charge inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans • Implement process improvements to ensure accurate and consistent charge capture • Evaluate charging practices and maintain the Charge Description Master • Ensure compliance with evolving coding and billing regulations • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance hospital net revenue • Lead operational improvement initiatives and provide analytical insights into billing errors, denials, and claim edits • Educate stakeholders on best practices and conduct quality assurance • Leverage data trends to identify training and revenue enhancement opportunities • Partner with client leadership to strengthen charge capture methodologies • Support system conversions and foster client relationships through regular rounding and site visits • Drive efficiencies in the revenue cycle

🎯 Requirements

• Reside within the United States • Authorized to work within the United States • Knowledge of revenue integrity, charge capture, billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes • Ability to manage the charge master and Charge Description Master • Knowledge of regulatory code changes and coding and billing regulations • Ability to analyze work queues, charge capture, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical trends • Ability to identify root causes of charge inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans • Ability to evaluate charging practices and billing errors, denials, and claim edits • Ability to conduct quality assurance and identify training and revenue enhancement opportunities • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client leadership • Ability to support system conversions and participate in client rounding and site visits
