📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate employees performing drafting and design tasks • Suggest enhancements to production processes, equipment performance, product quality, working conditions, process flow, and equipment use • Estimate staff-hour requirements for projects and help ensure timely completion • Study production schedules and establish or modify work procedures to meet schedules using knowledge of CAD machines and software capacities • Confer with Project Managers to coordinate departmental activities with corporate needs • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate staff to achieve work goals • Recommend or initiate personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures • Interview potential new hires and train new workers • Maintain time and production records • Estimate revenue and cost of current and future projects

🎯 Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in the pipeline industry • 0 to 5 years of experience managing designers/drafters, dealing with HR issues, budgets, and utilization • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D • Experience with alignment sheets and HDD • Experience working with survey data • Strong communication skills
