📋 Description

• Create and revise substation design drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation • Develop physical layouts, plan and elevation views, equipment arrangements, grounding plans, and structural drawings • Prepare construction drawing packages and incorporate engineering markups • Develop steel detailing and foundation drawings for substation equipment and structures • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy • Maintain drafting standards and quality control procedures • Support project schedules by producing deliverables on time and within budget

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field • 2+ years of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drafting experience • AutoCAD 3D is a plus • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications • Substation physical layout drafting experience • Intermediate AutoCAD skills • Technical/other training or better in Civil Engineering or related field
