📋 Description

• Monitors cloud environments and assist in responding to incidents and alerts. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices & controls into the deployment and development lifecycle. • Assists in conducting regular security assessments, control verifications, and vulnerability mitigations. • Assists in the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and procedures in alignment with established best practices and compliance requirements. • Assists in administering security and security awareness training to IT and business users.

🎯 Requirements

• Be available periodically for on-call or after-hours support. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Firm understanding of general cloud computing concepts. Real-world experience with at least one major cloud platform a plus. • Knowledge of security concepts & frameworks, cloud administration consoles & CLI, virtualization platforms, networking, client & server operating systems, database concepts, and the function and general IT requirements of business departments. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, STEM, or a related field or equivalent years of experience in the field of work required. • 2+ years of general IT experience with a working knowledge of security concepts & frameworks required. Scripting and/or application development experience is preferred.
