📋 Description

• Oversee and mentor the Medical Assistant Team • Ensure clinical service excellence, operational efficiency, and superior patient experience • Manage Medical Assistant performance expectations, KPIs, feedback, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans • Maintain a patient caseload and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary treatment team and outside providers • Manage MA schedules and create coverage plans to ensure seamless work completion and patient safety • Use data insights to guide feedback and support leadership decisions • Identify training needs and schedule and oversee training sessions • Collaborate with the Senior Medical Service Manager to lead the Monthly MA huddle and assist with the monthly Med Support Team meeting • Provide administrative oversight, logistical support, and coverage for patients assigned to direct reports • Review and approve time-off requests and expense requests in Ramp • Assist with hiring and onboarding new MA Team hires; develop onboarding plans • Develop and support growth plans for supervisees • Complete medical staff tasks including data entry, faxing, scheduling, and collecting outside priority records • Maintain and update patient medical records, including entering vital signs and uploading documents • Monitor medical team chat channels, answer questions, and involve appropriate medical staff for patient and family needs • Follow up on requested testing to ensure patients follow provider recommendations • Coordinate care with outside providers, including primary care providers and student health centers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) or equivalent certification is highly desirable • 4+ years experience working in a Med Support role • Previous direct people management or mentoring experience preferred • Experience in behavioral/Eating disorders for a minimum of 1 year • Preferred virtual care experience • Highly organized, skilled administrator • Strong communicator with a high level of confidentiality • Skilled at navigating electronic medical records • Ability and willingness to pivot to other potential tasks • Enthusiastic, strong team player a must • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer • Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
