📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth setting • Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT-ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings • Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain other state licenses as requested • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in New Jersey • Ability to support patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and varying acuity • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Ability to provide care two evenings per week until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm during the week, or after 3pm in Mountain Standard Time • Ability to attend mandatory meetings, including group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating-disorder treatment • Graduate program and university information required in the application • Successfully completed a Master’s or Doctoral degree from a CACREP-, COAMFTE-, CSWE-, MPCAC-, or equivalent-accredited mental health counseling/therapy program • Fully/independently licensed mental health therapist • Ability to provide proof of supervised clinical hours for cross-licensure purposes • Ability to work exclusively in a virtual/telehealth environment • Reliable internet and a private workspace • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating-disorder treatment preferred but not required • Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings preferred but not required • Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma preferred but not required • Case management and/or multidisciplinary care-team experience preferred but not required
