📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth setting • Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings • Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain additional state licenses as requested • Deliver evidence-based treatment, quality documentation, and ongoing assessment of patients’ and families’ needs

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in a Pacific Timezone state • Ability to support patients of all ages, with co-occurring conditions, diverse backgrounds and cultures, and varying acuity • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Availability to provide care two evenings per week until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm in the respective patient care time zone • Ability to attend mandatory meetings, including group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment • Successful completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree from a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or an equivalent accrediting body • Preferred but not required: experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment • Preferred but not required: experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings • Preferred but not required: experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma • Preferred but not required: case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team • Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
