📋 Description

• Provide nutrition-related aspects of eating disorder care • Work collaboratively with therapists, physicians, peer mentors, family mentors, patients, and families • Support patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Conduct initial nutrition assessments via telehealth • Prescribe meal plans using Equip's feeding philosophy and meal-planning approach • Assess target weight ranges • Guide exposure to fear and challenge foods • Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns to treatment team members • Provide education on resolving nutrition-related concerns • Reinforce treatment team directives in family interactions • Assist with discharge planning • Update treatment plans weekly with progress, goals, assignments, and directives • Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the treatment team and families • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs about food, nutrition, weight, and shape • Establish therapeutic relationships with families, set appropriate boundaries, and build working alliances • Document thoroughly in Equip's electronic medical record • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must currently reside in Oregon State • Must hold an active Oregon State Registered Dietitian license • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and coursework accredited or approved by ACEND • Licensed RDN required • Eating disorder experience preferred • Exposure to or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches preferred but not required • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams • Organized and results-driven • Ability to balance business needs and clinical priorities • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation • Availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care • Availability for at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 p.m. in the working time zone • Ability to work until 7 p.m. two evenings per week • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours
