📋 Description

• Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ unique needs • Conduct initial nutrition assessments, prescribe meal plans, and assess target weight ranges via telehealth • Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods • Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to treatment team members and provide education • Echo treatment team directives in interactions with families • Assist with discharge planning • Update treatment plans weekly with patient progress, goals, assignments, and nutrition concerns • Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the treatment team and families • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs around food, nutrition, weight, and shape • Establish therapeutic relationships with families, including rapport building, boundary setting, and working alliances • Thoroughly document care in Equip’s electronic medical record • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and coursework accredited or approved by ACEND • Licensed RDN required • Eating disorder experience preferred • Exposure or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches preferred but not required • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams • Organized and results-driven • Ability to understand and balance business needs and clinical priorities • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation • Ability to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the patient population’s time zone • Ability to work until 8 pm two evenings per week • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Providers must be licensed or registered as required in every state where they deliver care
