📋 Description

• Provide ongoing nutrition support to help patients transform maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs • Conduct initial nutrition assessments, prescribe meal plans, and assess target weight ranges through telehealth family meetings • Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods • Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to treatment team members and educate them on resolution strategies • Echo treatment team directives when interacting with families • Assist with discharge planning • Update treatment plans weekly with patient progress, goals, assignments, and nutrition concerns • Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the treatment team and families • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs about food, nutrition, weight, and shape • Establish therapeutic relationships with families through rapport building, boundary setting, and collaborative treatment alliances • Thoroughly document care in Equip’s electronic medical record • Attend mandatory supervision, treatment huddles, labs, all-hands, and individual supervision meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) • Licensed RDN required • Eating disorder experience preferred • Exposure or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches preferred but not required • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams • Organized and results-driven • Ability to balance business needs and clinical priorities • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation • Ability to work Pacific Hours • Availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions • Commitment to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the working time zone each week • Commitment to working until 8 pm two evenings per week • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Providers must be licensed or registered as required in every state where they deliver care
