• Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions related to eating disorders • Support families throughout the recovery process • Monitor vital signs, labs, and other medical data to ensure medical stability • Work with medical assistants and nurses to obtain medical records and vital signs, order labs and medications, and facilitate care collaboration with outside providers • Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, peer mentors, family mentors, medical providers, and physician colleagues on a multidisciplinary treatment team • Provide medical guidelines and treatment • Communicate via electronic medical record messaging with patients, supports, and the treatment team • Communicate and collaborate with outside providers • Document effectively and promptly in Equip’s electronic medical record according to company policies and procedures • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, continuing education, and department meetings • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and advanced practice providers • Spend up to 50% of time in direct patient care and approximately 50% in administrative work • Respond to between-session messages • Complete documentation and hold unanticipated sessions with care team members or patients • Provide weekly supervision of advanced practice providers • Participate in weekly Treatment Team Meetings • Care for patients ages 6-99 with eating disorders through Equip’s virtual telehealth platform
• Board-certified MD or DO in Family Medicine, or dual board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) • MD or DO degree • Must be able to see patients across the lifespan • Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states • Willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed • Ability and willingness to pursue licensure in all 50 states • 3+ years of clinical practice • Experience supervising or collaborating closely with advanced practice providers preferred • Proven ability to excel in high-acuity, high-volume clinical environments • Experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred • Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based practices preferred, but not required • Exceptional communication skills and a track record of collaboration with diverse teams and external providers • Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical and organizational priorities • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Clinical maturity to navigate complex cases while maintaining therapeutic relationships • Comfortable with startup pace and change • Expected working hours in the Eastern Time Zone, Monday-Friday
