📋 Description

• Provide support in training and team cohesion under the direction of the Supervisor • Act as the subject matter expert for Career Navigator functions when needed • Model and advocate for operational excellence and high-quality customer service • Perform Career Navigator duties including detailed case management, supportive-service coordination, participant reimbursement tracking, outreach, and follow-up • Meet with participants to identify employment barriers and develop strategies • Maintain caseloads and complete, accurate, timely case notes and records • Monitor and record job seeker participation in required activities • Maintain regular contact with caseload and liaise between customers and service providers • Send correspondence to schedule appointments, request employment verifications, and acquire pay stubs • Authorize, distribute, and reconcile participant reimbursements • Maintain accurate case files and electronic records • Attend leadership, team, and collaboration meetings as needed • Record eligibility, enrollment, assessment, services, and placement information in tracking systems • Ensure confidentiality of job seeker information and protect equipment and property • Support data entry, case management, quick hires, and other operational areas • Travel up to 20% within business hours and meet customers in person as required

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in related field and minimum 2 years of experience • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication, listening, articulation, and cultural sensitivity • Demonstrated experience with workload management and accountability • Ability to plan and organize assignments to create timely, accurate work products • Demonstrated analytical skills using logic and reasoning to assess information, form logical conclusions, evaluate options, and make decisions or recommendations • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook • Experience with federal, state, and local regulations related to employment and training programs • General knowledge of workforce one-stop and partner programs and services • Knowledge of characteristics associated with unemployed, dislocated, and disadvantaged populations • Strong report-writing skills • Demonstrated experience working independently while maintaining collaboration • Current valid driver’s license with low-risk driver rating • Automobile liability insurance required • Must reside in New Mexico • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 4 years of experience • Preferred: Experience in leadership, training, or supporting team and operational effectiveness
