📋 Description

• Provide medical leadership and oversight for pancreatic and colorectal cancer development programs • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer across the Erasca portfolio • Lead the clinical development subteam for all GI cancer studies • Design and implement novel, efficient clinical trials and assess appropriate endpoints • Lead clinical study subteams and monitor study integrity • Review, interpret, and communicate safety and efficacy data • Develop registrational strategies and contribute to regulatory filings and health authority interactions • Author clinical sections for INDs, NDAs, and related documents • Serve as medical lead and/or medical monitor on clinical programs and individual studies • Partner with Drug Safety to assess compound safety profiles • Author or support medical aspects of clinical research plans, protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory submissions • Contribute to scientific publications and author manuscripts • Present at scientific, medical, and regulatory meetings • Maintain clinical and scientific expertise through literature review and engagement with thought leaders, investigators, stakeholders, and partners • Participate in due diligence and business development activities • Hire, develop, and mentor medical directors and clinical scientists • Establish and maintain relationships across Erasca, particularly with Research and Development partners and stakeholders • Perform duties in accordance with company values, policies, and applicable regulations

🎯 Requirements

• M.D. degree or equivalent, with subspecialty fellowship training and board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Oncology/Hematology required • 8-10+ years of oncology clinical trial and drug development experience, including extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry • Experience as the clinical lead on late-stage clinical programs in colorectal, pancreatic, or other GI cancers required • Experience leading or being closely involved in the clinical aspects of a regulatory filing and direct interaction with health authorities required • Exposure to early development and the transition from FIH to registrational trials preferred • Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory and compliance requirements governing clinical trials • Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with multiple functions in a matrixed team environment • Executive leadership skills to educate and influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic business planning and decision-making • Effective interpersonal, communication, influencing, and excellent writing skills • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong learning orientation, curiosity, and commitment to science and patients
