📋 Description

• Own the AI Hub Center of Excellence charter and bridge Enterprise AI with Patient Services engineering • Ingest and operationalize GCP, Vertex AI, Claude, and Gemini Enterprise tooling into the software development lifecycle • Re-architect engineering practices into an AI-augmented model across development, QA, and business analysis • Define and drive change management for AI-first workflows • Architect the agent deployment and lifecycle framework on Vertex AI • Establish reusable RAG, tool/function-calling, MCP, and multi-step orchestration patterns • Set standards for building, evaluating, deploying, monitoring, and retiring production agents • Own AI governance, model selection, PHI/HIPAA handling, evaluation frameworks, and approved tools • Coordinate data-flow approval and BAA verification with InfoSec • Maintain the AI risk register and prompt/pattern library governance • Lead a hybrid onshore/offshore follow-the-sun team • Plan parallel-track delivery of AI MVPs and technology workstreams • Define AI velocity KPIs and report progress and ROI quarterly to the CTO and CFO • Serve as senior technical voice for AI with executive leaders and vendor partners • Coordinate with ACTICS, NiCE, MuleSoft integration, and product teams

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering • 3+ years in a technical lead or architect capacity • Experience architecting and deploying LLM-based systems or AI agents in production • Fluency with a major cloud AI platform; Vertex AI strongly preferred, or AWS Bedrock/Azure OpenAI acceptable • Experience with leading LLMs such as Claude or Gemini • Working knowledge of RAG, tool use/function calling, orchestration frameworks, and MCP • Experience introducing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor and driving adoption • Familiarity with Salesforce and enterprise integration such as MuleSoft • Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI handling, model risk, and data security • Excellent executive communication • Experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams • Travel is minimal • Ability to work 40 hours, Monday through Friday
