📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of data and process prescription information accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers using drug knowledge • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients regarding prior authorizations and patient care • Work current case queues to resolve patient care issues • Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential and accurate patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update medication profiles through outbound calls • Provide backup support during periods of high patient call volume • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Support ExactCare's nationwide patient base in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Embody AnewHealth's Core Values • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to perform in an office-based (or remote) setting requiring sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills serving doctors' offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription-taking, clarifications, and transfer processes • Strong written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed • Available outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
