📋 Description

• Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve questions • Collect patient balances when amounts are due • Provide exceptional customer service in a closed-door, phone-based pharmacy environment • Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf • Partner with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure excellent patient care • Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality • Provide backup support during higher patient call volume • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Communicate and interact in alignment with AnewHealth’s Core Values • Perform other duties as assigned • Work with patients, doctors, and facilities by phone while navigating multiple pharmacy software systems • Travel may be required for organization or department events, team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client engagements

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Comfortable working in a fully remote and/or phone-based environment • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills serving doctor’s offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone • Thorough pharmacy and drug knowledge • Knowledge of appropriate processes for prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers • Clear written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
