📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of data and process prescription information accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Resolve patient care issues from current case queues • Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update medication profiles • Provide backup support during high call volumes • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base • Embody AnewHealth’s core values in communications and interactions • Attend special organization or department events, team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client engagements when required • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of processes for taking prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details in compliance with state and federal regulations • Available to work an average of 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
