📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of prescription data with speed and accuracy • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Work current case queues to resolve patient-care issues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential and accurate patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update patient medication profiles • Provide backup support during periods of high patient call volume • Answer patient questions by phone • Support AnewHealth’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in communications and interactions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) • Maintain current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy • At least 18 years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to work in an office-based or remote setting, sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to use computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills for doctor’s offices, pharmacists, and patients • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription-taking, clarification, and transfer processes • Clear written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Ability to hear, see, sit, stand, talk, and walk • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May work extended hours as needed • Availability outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Must be eligible to work in the United States
