📋 Description

• Enter new and existing patient data into the computer • Obtain referrals for services • Obtain appropriate authorizations for services • Gather medical records to submit to insurance for proper authorization • Provide patients with estimated costs for services • Finalize appropriate account data • Maintain tracking of authorization limits • Obtain referrals for medical services • Travel infrequently by vehicle or airplane • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Minimum of one-year experience with Prior Authorizations • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft product suite and Internet • Typing speed of 60 words per minute or more • Knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communities • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask, learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and problem solve
