• Perform physical and remote audits of insured businesses • Interview, investigate, collect, and record information for written reports provided to insurance carriers • Perform audit activities assigned by the Area and/or Regional Manager • Determine audit priorities and schedule audits to meet deadlines • Prepare appointment letters • Conduct detailed reviews of business records • Prepare written reports of findings • Meet with business owners/managers to review audit results and implement required actions • Transmit completed reports to Quality Review by the required due date • Correct and complete audits returned for correction and retransmit them to Quality Review • Maintain accurate audit, expense, and time records • Perform other assigned duties
• 5+ years’ experience performing remote/field Premium Insurance Audits • Ability to work independently from home • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Experience with the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) • Self-motivated and self-disciplined • Willingness to learn • Excellent time management • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High School Diploma or GED required • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to work with little direct supervision • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to utilize available resources to complete assigned projects • Knowledge of computer applications to document and record audit findings • Familiarity with the importance of audit functions
