📋 Description

• Develop, create and/or modify database systems or programs based on user or system design specifications • Assist in writing new database programs and work with senior staff to develop new systems • Coordinate scheduling of project processing steps, monitor progress, and ensure completion • Analyze projects for processing and scheduling problems • Ensure completed testing of assigned projects and review results for inconsistencies and inefficient coding • Review output reports for accuracy and relay results to appropriate personnel • Maintain reports and set up ad-hoc reports using PC/Mainframe tools • Perform departmental technical processing from set-up to execution • Document system changes and additions • Communicate job process and keep team members informed of job status • Prepare detailed flow charts of database processing • Monitor, evaluate and present solutions to problem areas • Participate in client and development meetings to determine client or project needs • Design, develop and enhance databases with emphasis on processing efficiencies • Write new programs and develop new systems • Review project tasks, determine action plans and interpret processing specifications • Prepare time estimates for new development projects • Define and implement enhanced processing standards and procedures • Coordinate procedural changes and process improvements with internal departments • Lead project documentation • Advise others on database process interactions

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years related work experience including database design and development • Bachelor’s Degree with computer science coursework, or equivalent experience • Good working knowledge of database systems • Advanced experience programming, utilities and open systems • Advanced English communication skills • Advanced experience using SQL • Knowledge of Cloud Computing with Snowflake, AWS and/or GCP
