Extenteam combines service-first staffing with software-enabled workflows to integrate with proptechs and streamline property management tasks.

📋 Description

• Own product direction, including roadmap and prioritization • Define north stars and metrics, including measuring automation against actual resolution quality • Lead discovery to understand property manager and customer needs • Define and prioritize the right problems • Stay meaningfully ahead of engineering so work is scoped before reaching the team • Own pod structure across the engineering team • Establish a formal performance framework • Make performance decisions • Bridge engineering and the rest of the business by translating pressure into business context • Partner with Shared Services and Customer Success on product needs • Own what the company builds, why it builds it, and how the team is organized

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in the short-term rental, vacation rental, or property management industry • Knowledge of reservation alterations and OTA compliance • Engineering background with production coding experience • Experience leading engineers • Hands-on ability to work daily in a small team without a product organization or analysts • Experience owning a product roadmap and the team delivering against it • Experience making prioritization decisions about what does not get built • Experience restructuring a team • Experience addressing underperformance • 10+ years across product and engineering, with time owning both • Direct management experience of product managers, engineers, or both • Track record of restructuring a team and improving delivery • Experience shipping AI or automation products where coverage and quality trade off against each other
