📋 Description

• Produce analysis reports and diagnostic models to identify relationships and patterns between data and metrics • Review code for errors, bias, readability, and quality • Gather, clean, and preprocess data from varied sources • Perform feature engineering to improve dataset quality and usefulness • Build end-to-end data pipelines and deploy them on cloud infrastructure • Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models using regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, and optimization techniques • Use open-source and paid technologies to produce abstractions and novel features for applications • Stay current with data science, machine learning, and reporting technologies • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning role • Experience with at least one dashboarding tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, Streamlit, or Dash • Proficiency with Python • Proficiency with SQL • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques for predictive modeling, including regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, and optimization • Proficiency with end-to-end pipelines • Expert knowledge of model evaluation metrics • Experience pulling data from third-party systems and APIs • Proficiency with version control • Proficiency with visualization in Python • Familiarity with secure data handling and customer data privacy best practices • Proven record of converting business problems to data science solutions • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Preferred: prior experience in the financial planning industry • Preferred: prior experience in the consumer technology industry • Preferred: prior experience using containers to produce repeatable and shareable code • Preferred: prior experience with Natural Language Processing • Preferred: prior experience with cloud deployment • Preferred: prior experience with neural networks and/or LLMs • Preferred: prior experience with business optimization
