📋 Description

• Prepare and file Business Personal Property (BPP) tax returns for clients in various jurisdictions. • Process and validate client-provided fixed asset data for accuracy and completeness. • Calculate depreciation expenses for tax reporting purposes. • Reconcile client fixed asset sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts. • Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation for all client filings. • Research jurisdictional filing requirements and deadlines. • Assist with responses to client inquiries and tax notices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments to meet strict deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in accounting or tax preparation (preferred). • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) (preferred).
