📋 Description

• Design and manage WAN/LAN, WLAN, VPN, and network infrastructure • Collaborate with engineers, architects, NOC, SOC, incident responders, infrastructure, and development teams • Troubleshoot network infrastructure and resolve complex network issues • Research, analyze, and recommend technologies to meet changing business needs • Improve infrastructure uptime, performance, reliability, scalability, and usability • Establish and implement network infrastructure standards and policies • Develop and maintain documentation for network designs and infrastructure changes • Configure, troubleshoot, and scale F5-based load-balancing platforms • Design network configuration settings, including DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN, and VLAN modifications • Modify core and edge router and switch configurations • Support escalated major incidents through resolution • Coordinate installation, repair, and maintenance of network hardware • Maintain hardware and software inventory for compliance and asset management • Own disaster recovery planning, development, and implementation for network infrastructure • Ensure compliance with IT Security and Governance processes, including Change Control, SOX, and PCI • Implement technical and service improvements • Manage technology documents, certificates, licensing, registrations, activations, agreements, and contracts • Ensure networks, applications, circuits, hardware, and software are operational, patched, and updated • Evaluate new network technologies for business efficiency • Perform other duties as requested by management

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Center, SDWAN, Cloud, Wireless, Load-Balancer, Routing, Firewall, or Monitoring technologies • Preferred 5+ years’ IT experience in technology design, implementation, and delivery • Associate’s degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments • Experience contributing to network design, implementation, and optimization initiatives • Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Meraki, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies • Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues • Experience documenting network designs, configurations, and operational procedures • Experience in network engineering, including large scale design, datacenter, hosted and cloud, and local LAN technologies • Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls • Solid understanding of network protocols • Knowledge of applicable wireless security and privacy practices and compliance with SOX and PCI • Technical certifications preferred; CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP desirable • Project coordination skills • Excellent ability to organize, prioritize, and document work with minimal direction • Ability to travel up to 5% as needed • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software • Highly proficient communication skills and ability to effectively present to senior and executive leadership
