📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership on workforce skills development across all project activities within resource and financial constraints • Provide technical inputs, advice, strategies, and oversight for project grant mechanisms and processes • Develop systems and processes supporting technical deliverables • Identify, mobilize, and deploy technical assistance from FHI 360 and external consultants for grantees • Lead and participate in community planning activities involving education, industry, and government participants • Lead and contribute to grant strategies, identifying opportunities, barriers, and community impacts • Manage Community Coordinators and ensure they meet project deliverables • Support refinement of project indicators measuring project progress and success • Report to the Project Director

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Workforce Education, International Development, Economic Development, Education, or a related field • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project management and overseeing complex projects and initiatives • Experience managing global projects • Demonstrated expertise in career and technical education, workforce education or training, workforce development, economic development, or a related area • Experience providing technical assistance in workforce development or a related area • Experience working on complex projects on an international scale • Experience building partnerships with non-governmental organizations, corporations, community colleges, technical and vocational training institutions, public sector, and local government actors • English fluency required • Fluency in a second language preferred • Master’s Degree in a related field preferred • Experience with private sector funded programming preferred • Experience in advanced manufacturing and/or aerospace industry is a plus • Up to 20% travel may be required • Successful applicants must undergo reference, criminal record, terrorism finance, and related safeguarding screening checks
