📋 Description

• Perform skilled nursing functions in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, professional standards, and the Nurse Practice Act • Provide professional nursing care under medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan • Maintain client orders and document changes in the medical record • Provide personal care services, monitoring and reporting, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services • Perform tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings when applicable • Collaborate with the client’s care team • Promote personal safety and a safe environment • Comply with Agency policies, procedures, payor requirements, and accreditation standards • Participate in care coordination and attend Agency meetings as requested • Perform other related duties as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing • Current license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of operation • Current CPR certification • Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Licensed driver with automobile insured according to state or Agency requirements • At least 1 year as a licensed nurse • Pediatric experience requested in the application screening questions
