• Manage commercial title projects ranging from single-property to multi-property transactions • Search, examine, and connect data across counties and jurisdictions • Verify, interpret, and plot legal property descriptions • Review and analyze leases, subleases, deeds, liens, easements, and other public records • Determine ownership and title-related restrictions • Summarize findings and prepare title commitments and reports • Research and document discrepancies or missing information • Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• At least 3 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments in Texas • Understanding of relevant legal and real estate terminology • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/Pro • Proficiency with internet and property data platforms • Ability to learn company systems • Ability to analyze complex information and solve problems independently • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven, paperless environment • Clear and professional communication with a customer service mindset • High school diploma or equivalent
