• Coordinate the work and activities of other examiners • Resolve escalated issues • Measure and monitor capacity • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks and orders • Provide training • Provide input to hiring decisions and performance management • Perform title examinations of complex title orders, primarily for commercial properties • Abstract and analyze leases, subleases, acreage, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plot books, and map books • Determine ownership and legal restrictions • Verify legal descriptions and completeness of records, including for multi-site properties • Write title products using procedural guidelines and interpretation • Provide underwriting interpretation within established guidelines • Communicate with customers • Support commercial/industrial transactions • Perform other duties as assigned
• At least 5 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments • Understanding of relevant legal and real estate terminology • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/Pro • Proficiency with internet, property data platforms, and company systems • Ability to analyze complex information and solve problems independently • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven, paperless environment • Clear and professional communication with a customer service mindset • High school diploma or equivalent
